(May 2021. A little poem I wrote on my bus walls, on the ‘Sympathy’ panel. I wrote it freehand on the spot after my family and I had gone rafting on the Colorado through Gore Canyon with my friends as guides. It had been a tough row against the wind, but it was nice working together.)
A family rowing
Together, downriver,
Against the wind,
With the Colorado,
Water winding westward
