(April 2022 Puerto Rico. Written by Aidan Amber Brady & Bree. Experimenting with decentralized poetry, everyone shouted out lines and I wrote them down.)
he pressed a penny into my forehead
a contribution to my closed eyes
blinder spiders
can spin more special webs
this guy said we’re all black holes
like jesus
it’s like how do you come back from the universe
the words flow fast in the river of time
i’ll do whatever anybody doesn’t want to do
i’m down
the things you’ve never heard about
the things you hear from word of mouth
street whispers sleek slippers
the sleeping was freestyle
off the record
off the record is now on the record
and for the record, there was no record
aidan’s neck is stiff
shoulders that want to flutter
oh i would like that
joints needing some butter
don’t fuck around with clouds
and the suns trying to kill you but no ones talking about that
the snow don’t stick no mo
i’m nostalgic for my home
do you have other power points
this ones kinda dry
as you can see there are some symbols here
i found the penny on the ground
