ashton kutcher told us we aren’t better than anyone
and i think he’s wrong
although i have met many people better than harvard students
the short conversation, possible worlds
every dead end worth a second step
won’t someone here help make my american dream?
i still haven’t learned to carry myself like them,
as if the world was mine to be stepped into
i still feel the scramble from the chip on my shoulder
and wanton wanting
